Between Odunlade Adekola And His Brother Oyekanmi – What You Don’t Know About Their Wives Exp0sed

Talking about the biggest families who are very active in the Yoruba movie industry, undoubtedly, star actor, Odunlade Adekola’s family is fast becoming one of them as his younger brother, Oyekanmi Adekola joined him in the make-believe world. Though Odunlade is a rave-making actor in the industry at the moment,  Oyekanmi has really shown the potential to become the best in the years to come. However, what many don’t know is the fact that the 2 of them share a lot of things in common.

Slickson will tell you that while Odunlade owns a theatre school called Odunlade Adekola Productions in Abeokuta, Oyekanmi also has a Christian theatre troupe which he has been running for a while before he joined the Yoruba movie industry. Odunlade is very shrewd, the same thing with Oyekanmi. Aside this, Odunlade and Oyekanmi, in real life, or when they are not on set, are very playful and funny, just as they are masters in  music ,  they both are great role interpreters. They are very talented and exceptionally creative. Above all, they went to the school at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta where they both met their wives.

Odunlade and his wife, Ruth studied Business Administration while Oyekanmi and his wife, Blessing also studied Mass Communication from the same school.  Odunlade later attended the University of Lagos to further his education. Odunlade and Oyekanmi are from Ekiti State while Ruth and Blessing hail from Abeokuta in OgunState. The two Adekola women are into both business .


Odunlade was a chorister in his father’s church before he became a movie star while his brother is an evangelist in the same church. Above all, they are both married to  born-again Christians. Odunlade Adekola joined the industry a couple of years ago, he was born on December 31st, 1977. Though from Ekiti State, he grew up in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He started school at Saint John RCM Primary School, and later Saint Peter’s College, both in Abeokuta. He joined the acting industry, professionally in 2005, and in his less than 11 years in the industry, Odunlade Adekola has featured in over 100 Yoruba movies. Odunlade’s marriage is   blessed with 3 bouncing baby boys. Oyekanmi joined the industry not quite long but he proved himself to be professional in the game. He also attended the same school as his brother . He  married  his belle, Blessing Adekola a month ago.
