Popular Yoruba Actress Kudirat Ajimati Is Dead

– Nollywood Yoruba industry has being thrown into mourning again as actress Kudirat Ajimati is dead
– Ajimati was based in Abeokuta from where she featured in Yoruba movies
– Her remains has being buried according to Islamic rite on Tuesday, November 15, 2016
– She is survived by an aged mother

The Yoruba actress known for playing motherly role’s colleague got wind of her death in the early morning of Tuesday, November 15, 2016.




The news of her death was announced on social media by the association Theatre Arts and Movie Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN),Ogun State chapter which she belonged to.
The post reads:

“It saddens our association, Theatre Arts and Movie Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN),Ogun State Chapter, to announce the untimely death of our beloved sister/colleague Kudirat Ajimat popularly known and called Ajimat.
The news of her death got to us this morning as a shocker but we don’t have the power to stop God from doing what is right in HIS sight. Ajimat, we will seriously miss u and ur friendly lifestyle! Rest in Peace!”

The actress who was well endowed behind is known to always flaunt her backside in movies. She was mostly paired as Mr Latin’s wife in movies.
Cool9jagists blog spoke exclusively with the chairman of TAMPAN in Ogun state Pastor Ajidara. He revealed that the association heard the news on Tuesday morning and that the deceased has been buried according to Islamic injuction. He also hinted that her burial was hasty as she still has an aged mother. Some of the movies she has featured in include Adigun Oga Oga, Bata Wahala among others.
